(Traditional/ Praetorius/ O’ Carolan) Lo how a Rose is an anonymous Germanic hymn from possibly as early as the 14th century, Michael Praetorius contributed to the harmony in the 15th century and various translations of the text have occurred up until the 20th century. Planxty Irwin is an 18th century harp piece from the pen of the blind Irish harpist Turlough O’ Carolan as a tribute to Colonel John Irwin.
